Creating Connection Objects

1. Create a Dependency Between Two Objects

  1. Open an object, e.g. myDs-REST.
  2. Go to the Dependencies section and click “Add”.
  3. Select a target object, e.g. Salesforce (Application).
  4. Choose the Dependency Type (e.g. “Connected with”) and optionally provide a description or mark it as critical.
  5. Click “Save”.

2. Add Connection Objects to the Relationship

  1. Open the created dependency.
  2. Scroll down to the “Connection Objects” section.
  3. Click “Add”.

  1. Select an object from a segment such as Information.
  2. Optionally provide a Label, Dependency Type, or mark it as Critical.
  3. Click Save.

Result

The connection between two applications is now enriched with one or more connection objects (e.g. API, contract, information). This enables deeper documentation of the relationship.
