less than a minute
Creating Connection Objects
1. Create a Dependency Between Two Objects
- Create two applications. In this example, the applications myDocusnap and Salesforce are created.
- Then open the application myDocusnap.
- Go to the Dependencies section and click “Add”.
- Select a target object, e.g. Salesforce (Application).
- Choose the Dependency Type (e.g. “Interdependent”) and optionally provide a description or mark it as critical.
- Click “Save”.

2. Add Connection Objects to the Relationship
- Navigate to Inventory - Integration and create a Rest API named myDs-REST.
- Switch back to the applications and open the dependency myDocusnap.
- Click Edit for the dependency you created.
- In the “Connector objects” section, click “Add”.
- Specify Designation, Dependency type, and Criticality.
- Select an object from a segment, e.g., Integrations - myDs-REST.
- Click Save.

Result
The connection between two applications is now enriched with one or more connection objects (e.g. API, contract, information). This enables deeper documentation of the relationship.
