Create and manage custom dashboards in Docusnap365.

Introduction

Dashboards in Docusnap365 are more than just a collection of widgets – they are your cockpit for IT operations.
Instead of gathering information from various modules, dashboards consolidate the most important key figures and insights in one place.

This means for you:

  • Quick overview of the stability, security, and currency of your systems
  • Early detection of risks (e.g., outdated systems, expired support, insecure protocols)
  • Individual focus areas: Everyone can build dashboards according to their own needs – from security to compliance to infrastructure

A predefined standard dashboard is provided initially so you can start right away.
In addition, dashboards can be flexibly customized, expanded, and completely rebuilt to give you exactly the IT perspective you need.

Create a Dashboard

  1. In the Boards section, open the Dashboards entry.
  2. Click Create New Dashboard.
  3. Enter a name (e.g., My Dashboard).
  4. Select the desired widgets from the list.
  5. In the preview, you can immediately see how the widgets will be displayed.
  6. Click Save to create the dashboard.

Add Widgets

You can add additional widgets to an existing dashboard at any time:

  1. Open the desired dashboard.
  2. Select Add Widgets.
  3. Search for the appropriate board (e.g., Security & Compliance – Windows Server Security).
  4. Select the desired widgets (e.g., SMB1 protocol active, Operating system support status).
  5. Save your selection.

Switch Dashboards via Dropdown

If you have created multiple dashboards, you can switch between them using a dropdown menu.
For example, you can create different dashboards for server operations, client management, or security.

Pin Widgets

Widgets can not only be managed within the dashboard itself, but can also be pinned directly from the topic boards.
For example, you can pin a widget for system stability or update status directly to your dashboard while working in a specific board.
