Windows Clients (Security & Compliance)
2 minute read
Introduction
The Windows Clients board in the Security & Compliance section provides a clear overview of the security status of your client systems.
Its goal is to immediately highlight risks such as missing antivirus protection, insecure protocols, or outdated operating systems.
This allows you to take targeted measures where they will have the greatest impact.
Dashboard Contents
The dashboard includes several key security-related metrics:
Operating System Support Status
Shows which clients are still supported, which are nearing end of support, and which are already out of support.Antivirus Status
Indicates how many clients have active antivirus protection and where protective measures are missing.Firewall Profiles
Checks whether domain, private, and public firewall profiles are enabled – including a warning if systems are running without full protection.Update Status
Provides an overview of how up to date the systems are patched, highlighting clients with no updates in the last 90 days.Insecure Protocols
Shows whether outdated or insecure protocols such as SMB1 are still active – including an urgent recommendation to disable them.Automatic Updates
Provides an overview of whether automatic updates are enabled on the clients.
Benefits
The Windows Clients board in the Security & Compliance section answers questions such as:
- Which clients are running without support and pose a security risk?
- Are there systems without up-to-date antivirus protection or without an active firewall?
- What is the patch status of my clients and where are security gaps emerging?
- Are insecure protocols such as SMB1 still in use?
This board enables targeted management of security measures, compliance checks, and risk minimization.
