People

Representation of real individuals such as employees or service providers in Docusnap365 – with links to other objects such as accounts, applications, or departments. Without role models or explicit responsibilities.

Objective

In Docusnap365, real people – such as internal employees or external service providers – can be defined as independent objects and embedded into the model structure.

This chapter describes how people are currently captured in Docusnap365 and how they can be structurally linked to other elements.

Scope of Functionality

The current functionality for modeling people includes:

  • Creating people

    • Manually via the user interface or automatically via REST API
  • Technical links to other objects, such as:

    • User accounts (e.g., from AD, M365, local systems)
    • Departments (for organizational classification)
    • Applications, business services, processes
  • Dependency diagram

    • Visualization of all linked objects related to a person
    • Supports navigation and understanding of relationships – without semantic interpretation (e.g., no responsibilities)

Example Use Cases

  • Which accounts are assigned to a specific person?

    • Visible through the technical linkage
  • To which department is a person organizationally assigned?

    • Represented via the department relationship
  • Which applications or processes is a person associated with?

    • Model-based relationships can be used for context or filtering
