Inventorying Hyper-V
2 minute read
Introduction
Microsoft Hyper-V is a virtualization platform for Windows Server that enables the efficient operation and management of virtual machines (VMs).
With Hyper-V inventory in Docusnap365, all relevant information about Hyper-V hosts and the virtual machines running on them is collected agentlessly via the Docusnap Enterprise Gateway.
This provides a complete and up-to-date overview of the entire Hyper-V infrastructure—from the physical hosts and their configurations to the individual VMs and their resources.
The goal is to provide reliable documentation for operations, administration, and compliance, creating a solid foundation for capacity planning and IT management.
