Storage Inventory

Introduction

The storage inventory in Docusnap365 provides comprehensive detection and documentation of central storage systems or dedicated storage appliances.
Using the Docusnap Enterprise Gateway, systems are scanned agentlessly, and all relevant information on capacities, volumes, and connections is collected.

During the storage inventory process, the collected information is divided into the Hardware and Storage segments to clearly separate the physical components from the logical storage structures.
This allows hardware resources and storage configurations to be specifically analyzed and documented within Docusnap365.
