  • Export to common formats (CSV, Excel)
  • Direct editing or navigation to the object’s detail view

Using Docusnap365 in the Context of “Working with Lists”

List handling in Docusnap365 is a core part of daily work. It combines clarity with deep functionality — from structuring to maintenance and analysis.

Scope

Lists are available in segments such as:

  • Inventory: Hardware, systems, accounts, networks, software, management services
  • Business: Applications, information, business services, people
  • Analysis & Data Sources: e.g., NTFS analyses, IP hosts

Typical Features

  • Filtering: Free text search across all columns or targeted column filters
  • Sorting: Ascending or descending by column content
  • Editing: Open, change, or delete objects directly from the list
  • Multi-selection: Apply actions to multiple objects at once
  • Editing dependencies: Create or modify links between objects
  • Exporting: Export to Excel or CSV for further processing

Column Options

Each list allows you to individually configure the displayed columns:

  • Show or hide columns
  • Adjust column order via drag & drop
  • Define sort order
  • Save column configurations persistently

These options enable tailored views optimized for specific use cases.

Grouping

List entries can be grouped by various criteria — e.g., by type, location, or platform. The grouping feature helps structure large datasets and quickly identify relevant subsets.

Journal

The journal allows you to track the change history of an object. Every relevant action — such as editing a name or changing a tag — is logged and transparently accessible to authorized users.
